Layla is a seventeen year old teenager who just wants to live a normal life, but her life is anything but normal. Born with a special ability to take a person's soul with simply a kiss. She is raised in a family of Wardens- gargoyles created to protect human beings from demons and is a Warden herself but she is also half demon. After the dramatic events that cause the disappearance of Roth, her love interest,she thought it was over but Roth suddenly appears bringing confusions and mysteries back into her life.
