This book is a historical romance novel focusing around the life of New York socialite Evelyn Hard. She leaves her affluent life in New York to journey to London, to forget the memory of her dreary marriage that left her a widow. Once there, she is whisked into a life of parties, Viscountesses that believe they are helping her get over her marriage, and eligible bachelors that are more than happy to help her forget the drab life she left behind.
