The Devouring is a book that captures your mind and soul, forcing each word to sink into your mind through the depths beyond the unthinkable. It tells the story of Reggie, a highschool girl who finds a book called The Devouring. Inside are pages full of handwritten descriptions of Vours: creatures who take scared children's souls on the darkest night of the year - Sorry Night. On the rumored Sorry Night, Reggie shares the story of the Vours to her younger brother Henry, who is drawn into every word and believing them. The next day, Henry starts acting strange.
