Cascade, the companion novel to Waterfall, by Lisa T. Bergren, is just as engaging, fascinating, and informative as the first book in the series. When Gabi and her sister Lia stumble back into their own time period, they convince their mother to journey back in time with them once more. When they return to the early 1300s, they find danger lurking and Castello Forelli under attack once more. Gabi and Lia find themselves at the center of a deadly battle between those they love and the barbaric enemies who will stop at nothing to get what they want.
