In the small town of Green Lawn, St Patrick's Day is celebrated by decorating little statues of leprechaun's. The mayor then selects a winner. Everyone is excited until the leprechauns start to disappear. Four children are the first to notice their leprechaun dressed like their dog Pal, was missing. When other leprechaun's are reported missing a young college boy named Lucky O'Leary is arrested. The four kids search for information to prove Lucky's innocence. They are shocked by what they find out when they visit the police station.
