Keyholders # 4 The Wrong Side of Magic This story is about a magical world on the other side of a border where evil creatures live, including trolls and shape shifters. The main characters are friends, Natalie, Luke and Penny. They are apprentice key holders. A key holder is someone who holds the keys to the border and protects the border from being breached by the evil doers. The story begins when a troll crosses the border and the adventures continue as some of the other evil creatures try to take over the town and the human's bodies.
Amelia Hammer was pretty excited to find out her parents were headed to Peru. Instead of letting her join them, though, they ship Amelia off to relatives in a boring town in Ontario. Another girl new to town, though, Mara, brings some excitement to the small town. She's being tracked by a shape-shifting assasin. And Mara herself is not exactly like the rest of the people in town.
Melonhead is a story about a ten year old boy named Adam Melon, who can't help himself from getting into mischief. It is a book full of adventures with Adam and his best friend Sam. The two friends decide to enter the Challenge America invention contest together at school. While they are trying to create the best invention, they manage to get into a little trouble along the way.
This is a funny book about Alvin Ho, a second grader, who is afraid of everything. When his father suggests going on a camping trip, Alvin is terrified. He asks his brother, Calvin to help him be less afraid. Calvin orders special camping equipment, including night vision goggles. The camping trip was filled with some unexpected moments and Alvin learned to overcome his fears. In the end, he actually enjoyed it.
