Nine notes...five notes...five notes...this song plays in Darkis' mind as he searches for the dwarf crown in The Dragon Song by Tracy Hickman. But along the way he meets a dwarf jester who is out for revenge. In this book it is a time when elves rule over humans, so when Darkis and his fellow soldiers capture the dwarf and make him a slave he breaks a spell that all human slaves are under, including Darkis. After the spell is broken the house Darkis lives in collapses and he and his friends must travel north, just like the Darkis of Prophecy.
