Written by Jack Prelutsky, The Swamps of Sleethe is a book of poetry aimed at children ages 9-12. The Swamps of Sleethe takes the reader on a journey through space, visiting dangerous planets far from the outer reaches of our solar system. The dark yet comedic poems within the bindings of this book describe the dangers of a universe we've only just begun to explore. The perilous journey ends with "The Strovilean Explorers," a poem that will leave you speechless as you realize the complete and utter truth of it all.
