In the book Poppy and Marigold there are different territories each with a different color. In Poppy’s blue territory they are taught to think badly about the other territories. They learn that they are the best and the other territories are aggressive, clueless, too earthy, and odd for believing in religious behavior. But one day Poppy accidentally crosses the border and learned something about her territory. When she comes back, she risks being shot and even being sent to a detention center. But later in the book, Poppy is faced with a choice.
