Flory, a young night fairy, enjoys her unusually pretty wings for only three months.  One evening a bat catches her beautiful wings and ruins them, making flying a thing of the past.  The young fairy lands in a human’s garden, finds an abandoned bird house, and makes her home there.  Flory discovers that the world is a very dangerous place for fairies who cannot fly.  Will she survive?
