When the Stars Go Blue is about a girl named Soledad, who is a very talented dancer. She meets this boy named Jonathan, who tells her about the dance corps he is in. The corps was performing Carmen and they want a real life Carmen. Jonathan suggests Soledad, but she already has plans for the summer working at a dance studio. What will Soledad decide to do?

Opinion:

I personally did not really like this book. It was not a page-turner. It seemed really slow and boring at first, and it didnt get that much better. Soledad is realistic, but I did not find the plot interesting. I did not feel like I was part of the book. All in all, the book did not impress me.
