Aliens have invaded Earth and are bringing an end to our civilization as we know it.  All is lost...or is it?

Opinion: 

This is a classic science fiction book. It has a somewhat difficult plot to follow, and some of the discriptions are confusing. But the ending is very good and clever. The book overall is for older teenagers.
