Zanna and her friend Deeba are taken to a new world, called Un Lun Dun. This strange and different world is full of everything that is rejected. Discarded items such as trash and unbrellas come alive. Zanna soon learns that she is the Shwazzy, and ment to save Un Lun Dun from the Smog. In this adventure she must find out who she is and how to save Un Lun Dun.

Opinion:

Un Lun Dun is unlike anything I have ever read. It is attention grabbing from beginning to end. It is full of unusual characters, my favorite being Curdle the old milk carton. If you enjoy fantasy adventure, this is the book for you. Its unique setting and its odd characters make it enjoyable. Although it is over 400 pages and catagorized as young adult, it is an easy read that will appeal to many ages.
