LitPick Review
The book, TOYS COME HOME, is about a toy stingray that is given to a girl for her birthday. After the girl opens the package, she names the stingray, StingRay. StingRay learns about the animals the girl owns, such as Bobby Dot, the walrus, the mice, the sheep, and the unnamed rocking horse. In the six stories, things happen to the animals that are unexpected. Bobby Dot gets puked on, destroyed and replaced. In this book, you should expect the unexpected.
Opinion:
The book is good for reading to a six-year old before bed. When I picked the book, it said it was for 4-8 year olds, but when I got it, the book said it was for 6-10 year olds. The topic is clear and the stories are easy to get into. The author has the reader excited about the next thing that will happen. I recommend this book for 6+.
