Two brothers runaway from their aunt and go to Venice. They meet up with three other runaway children and their leader, The Thief Lord. Their hideout is in an old movie theater where they live until discovered by a detective sent tofind them...

Opinion:

This adventure takes you through the tiny narrow streets and back alleys of Venice in a cat and mouse chase that is exciting and fast-paced.  The characters each have their own reason for escaping into their own world of make-believe, but the realities they face bring them back to real life.  I really liked this book and recommend it for anyone looking for a interesting fun story that takes place in an interesting city in Italy.
