Take Flight is about a girl named Erin and her haunted life. Erin's parents are not normal. They have sharp teeth, are away to cold places in the summer, and don't go out in the sunlight unless they have to. Her brother and sister died on the same day, a year apart. Erin and her best friend, Jeremy, take a trip to Germany to watch for paranormal activity. She meets Bastian in Germany and falls in love. When Erin comes back to her haunted house, she feels that Bastian is following her everywhere. She begins to date Lucas. But each night, Erin dreams that Bastian tortures her. In reality, Bastian is different than she things. Lucas is able to protect her until Erin changes into a different form. What is Erin? What will happen to her? Who will save her?

Opinion:

Take Flight was a very vivid and interesting book. It deals with paranormal activity and realms of the world that are unknown and made me want to believe in mystical creatures. It is good for readers into fantasy and paranormal activity. The plot is fast-paced and very good. It was easy to understand and kept me turning pages. The characters were very believable and surprising. There are characters that you think are one thing, but they are really another. Erin's life is very interesting. The story is told from Erin's point of view, and it leaves you wanting more. I hope there is a sequel.
