Ruthie and Jack had thought their adventures were over and were getting back to their regular lives in Chicago..until miniatures begin to disappear. Now they must discover who is stealing this magic. In their quest to stop the magic thief, they go back in time to 1937 Paris and North Carolina. But as they continue their search for the thief, more and more miniatures disappear along with their key that allows them to shrink. Now they must find the thief and stop him before the magic is destroyed forever.

Opinion:

The book turned out to be a quick read. I would definatley not read it if you haven't read the first book. Because I had never read this series it was a little hard for me to get into the book and really connect with it. But as it continued and the plot unfolded I became really engrossed in it. I would recommend this to younger readers or anyone who wants a quick read in their spare time.
