The book I read was, "Smells like Dog." Homer Pudding is a far boy who wants to be just like his Uncle Drake, who goes on exciting adventures to find treasures no one has found before. Then, Uncle Drake dies trying to find a map leading to Rumpold Smeller's treasure. Rumpold Smeller was a famous treasure hunter. In his will he left Homer a note saying he wants him to follow his treasure hunting dream. So Homer sets out to find Rumpold Smeller's map. His Uncle Drake also gives him his droopy dog and said that it was his most treasured possesion. Homer wonders why this slow, short, lazy dog is his uncle's most treasured possesion but he doesn't know the dog has a special ability. Then he finds a coin labeled L.O.S.T. on the dog's collar. Homer thinks the coin will help him in his search for the map. So, when Homer goes on his adventure to find the map he finds another person who is looking for the map. She is Madame la Directeur who will stop at nothing to find it. Will Homer and his dog find the treasure map and will Homer figure out his dog's special ability?

Opinion:

I really liked this book. It was an action-packed mystery book. I never knew what was going to happen next. In my mind I had a great detailed picture of what was happening and I felt like I knew every character's personality. I think everyone should read this book.
