This book had a storyline based on a high-school girl's life, only with a twist. The main character gets her arm bitten off by a shark! The main character struggles with her new challenge. She is faced with backstabbing, criticism, and stares. The story brings you through her accident and recovery in a journal form.

Opinion:

My opinion is that this book was well written, it seems as if you are physically present in the scenes of the book. I think the age group that should read it is young adults, just as the author suggested. I do want to note that this story contains various swear words that may offend readers. I enjoyed reading it because of the author's point of view; she brings the character alive. The story captures your attention. My opinion is that it is a good book.
