LitPick Review
Kevin "Shakespeare" Boland's life has been going good, even after his mom died. His girlfriend, Mira, is cute, his baseball team is on their way to the playoffs, and he's got some talent when it comes to writing poetry, but he isn't happy. Why? He and Mira are so different, his dad is trying to find a new girlfriend and is throwing away of bunch of his mom's old stuff, and now he's met Amy. She's not as cute as Mira, but they have way more in common. Does he like Mira enough to stay with her? Or does he fall for Amy?
Opinion:
I think "Shakespeare Makes the Playoffs" was a different twist of a book...but it was still a story. I definatley like how Ron Koertge changed up the normal format of the story into something new and different. This book is one of my favorite books I have read in the Flamingnet program. I am going to find the other books by this author so I can read them too. I like the twisted format of them.
