This being the second book of the "13 to life" series, I didn't know until I started reading. It confused me, and yet still made me want to read more. I couldnt really tell you much about the deeper meaning and the back ground story to this, but I can tell you it entertained me until the very end. I recommend this book, well of course after you read the 1st.
