This book is about a boy who lives in a family that has mixed religions. Sam's mom is Christian and Sam's dad is Jewish. As Sam learns more about both religions he tries to figure out what religion he wants to become. Sam asks many people about theire religions in order to understand more about his family and himself. Sam decides to finally ask God about himself and religions. But Sam finally sees that God doesn't answer back, and Sam finds that maybe his anwers to his questions about religion might be right near him.

Opinion:

This book is a page turner. Once I started to read it I could not put it down. All the characters were well developed. I especially liked Sam's character the best. He was a person who not only tried to find out about religions, but also about himself, and who he really is in all of this mess. Cooper made this book believable because she combined two religions together. When you read the book, you also were able to learn a little about both religions. Since I have mixed religions this book made me understand how other people feel about their mixed religions. I would recommend this book to people who have mixed religions and people who want to feel how somebody else feels about their life.
