This book is the fourth and final in a series about Ruby Oliver. In this last book, Ruby is overjoyed because she finally has a real live boyfriend Noel. After heading to New York to visit his brother for the month of August, Noel returns and is different. He seems quieter and less interested in Ruby. Besides trying to figure out what is going on with Noel, Ruby is in the middle of college applications, dealing with her crazy and irrational parents and, once again, learning who her true friends are. All of the stress is enough to bring Ruby back to having panic attacks. But, this time,Ruby seems to have grown up and is better able to cope. Can she really handle everything on her own? Will her real live boyfriend become her real live ex-boyfriend?

Opinion:

I really enjoyed this book. It would be considered a teenage romance novel which is my absolute favorite type of book. I had already read the first book in this series (but not the second and third, so I understood much of what was going on but was still quite confused. I highly recommend reading all the other Ruby books first or else you will have a lot of trouble understanding. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good laugh and reading about the life of an everyday teenager.
