LitPick Review
In the book Princeps Fury, By Jim Butcher, Tavi, now recognized as Princeps Gaius Octavian and heir to the crown, has received an alliance with the savage Canim. After a year of armistice, Tavi and his Legions worst fears come true: the dreaded Vord (the enemy of both Aleran and Cane) have spent the last few years laying waste to Canim. And when the Alerans are cut off from their ships, they have no choice but to fight if they are to survive. Meanwhile, after the destruction of the city the High Lord of Kalare, Alera struggles to rebuild while politicians and nobles maneuver for power. But from the south comes news of death and devastation like no other because the Vord is heading for Alera.
Opinion:
The book Princeps Fury turned out to be rather boring. Though there were some parts that got exciting, it eventually died down. Butcher was very descriptive during the book and it helped me get a good picture of the book. ON a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 7. It might have been easier to understand if I had read the first 5 books.
