Mina is a banshee. "They say that when a banshee sings,
someone dies."(pg 1, Poison Kissed) All Mina has to do is
sing and she can murder with the blink of an eye. This is
what her boss, Joey DiLuca, pays her for; to kill his
enemies, to fight for him and with him. What he doesn't
know is that Mina is madly in love with him and she can't
control it. When Mina finds out that Joey might be linked
to her mother's murder, she doesn't know what to do. She
knows that it is wrong, but she still has that little
piece of her that still loves him and wants to be with
him. Will Mina get her revenge or does Joey even deserve
it? Did he even kill Mina's mother?

Opinion:

Erica Hayes does an absolute extradoridinary job on this book. The main thing
that caught my attention was the fact that some of the
excruciating, physical and mental, pain that the
characters go through is so real. I've never read a book
that has such amazing descriptions to where the pain seems
so alive. Poison Kissed is a wicked, supernatural filled
novel with an interesting twist of romance and death. This
novel is scary, romantic, and funny all together and
anyone who picks it up won't put it down until they read
every last word. It is truly one of the most undescribable
novels I have read and I recommend it to any young adult
reader.
