There has been a blank notebook sitting on a table in Mina McKee's house that Mina has said she will use as a journal. Now she has decided to actually do just that. Mina has always been strange; she has always been the outsider. Mina has no friends, no dad, but a loving mom who is willing to homeschool Mina, and a abundant imagination that can take her anywhere. 'School is a cage' is her thoughts. A cage that doesn't allow imagination! Her used to be teacher was always mad at her for being imaginative and that finally led to being taken out of school. No she did not get suspended, but some people thought that she should take pills. Well, NO!!! Not Mina, she will not lose her imaginative, thoughtful brain that helps her fill up her magnificent journal that holds all her thoughts and dreams.
