This book is about Mason Dixon and his adventure with basketball. He is convinced by his best friend, Brody, that basketball is a fun sport that they could learn to play. His parents sign him up and during the first meeting, his mom volunteers his dad to be the coach. There are not many boys on the team who can play. At some of his games, he has to play against the school bully, Dunk. Is he going to find out if he is meant to play sports, or is he not the kind of person who enjoys that type of past time?

Opinion:

I like this book because of the characters. They are very believable and pull you into their lives. The illustrations were very interesting. They were not in color, but they made a strong image of what the characters were doing and how they were doing it. I recommend it for anyone under 12.
