Hunter Scott, a young boy, created his history fair project on the torpedoing and subsequent sinking of the USS Indianapolis. The sinking killed many of the crew and left others to die during shark attacks and other misfortunes.

Opinion:

An unforgetable story of bravery and heroism is the subject of this historical fiction.  I enjoyed it a lot and learned all about the USS Indianapolis tragedy.  I recommend this book to others interested in learning more about our troops during war and the hardships they can and sometimes must endure to survive in the face of terrible odds.
