The Invisible Terror collection includes books 4-6 of Bill
Myers' fictional series, Forbidden Doors. All three of
these books are about a girl named Rebecca Williams, her
brother Scott, and their battle against influences of the
occult.

Book 4: The Haunting - The Ascension Lady, owner
of an occult book shop, is requesting that Becka and Scott
help conduct a seance to free a little girl's spirit from
a haunted house where she was brutally murdured more than
fifty years ago. The bible says that there are no such
things as ghosts, and Becca fears this "ghost" may be a
demon. If her suspicion is right, then everyone involved
in the seance is in grave danger...

Book 5: The Guardian - After a near-death experience, Becca's friend
Julie has begun using a crystal to contact her "guardian
angel" who tells her that she has been chosen to undergo
a "spiritual awakening". Becca senses something seriously
wrong, fearing this may be another demon, but when she
voices her concern she is brushed aside and accused of
being jealous. How can Becca protect Julie when her friend
refuses to speak to her?

Book 6: The Encounter - Krissi begins experimenting with something called "automatic
handwriting" and is supposedly being contacted by
extraterrestrials. Are these truly aliens or yet another
demon in disguise?

Opinion:

When I first received this book, I was a little nervous because of its focus on religious
beliefs. I was concerned that all of the talk about demons
and the occult might lead me astray from my personal
beliefs. After getting further into the storyline,
however, I learned that this book had a lot of good things
to say. It talks a lot about Becca and Scott's struggle in
their path to God and how they showed Christ to their non-
Christian friends. The author used many direct quotes from
the bible to back his writing and did an overall great job
with this book. I personally can say that I learned a few
things about God along the way. These stories are
extremely suspenseful and hold the reader's attention. I
can not wait to read the rest of the series.

One final note. I would advise everyone to read the "Author's Note"
in the back of the book. It voices some important concerns
that I believe the reader should be aware
