Kirsten is cursed. She's spending the winter with her sister and nephew, tending after both of them- Gretchen broke her leg skiing and Brett is three- in the twin cities, far away from her friends. Plus boyfriend-less Kirsten has to find a date to Groundhog Getaway, the weekend cabin trip she and her friends have been planning for ages. But when she stumbles across a hot guy at the local ice rink, things start looking up. Sean is such a hottie- so why does she keep finding herself attracted to his brother, Conor?

Opinion:

Being from around the Twin Cities myself, i really enjoyed reading as Kirsten did all the things my friends and I do! The main characters in this book- Kirsten and Conor especially- were well-developed for the genre, but I did feel like some of the supporting characters were a little cliche or stereotypical. The plot was interesting throughout and though you could sense the Sean- Kirsten-Conor love triangle pretty early on, there were enough twists and turns before the end to keep me entertained. I really liked the Benson boys and I felt Kirsten was totally someone I could relate to. This book comes highly recommended to anyone trying to warm up a dull winter- sorry, hot cocoa and blazing fire not included.
