An educating story about a danger to life as we know it, lethal viruses. Focusing in on the Ebola, The Hot Zone examines a true event in Washington, D.C. A group of people were exposed to a strain of this deadly disease, and both the military  and government can't stop its spread.

Opinion:

The Hot Zone is a book that is almost an alert as to what can happen in the case of a deadly disease outbreak.  Given that Ebola is a real problem in Africa and the ease of travel these days, this story may yet become a reality...  Read this book to learn more about the risk to us all.
