Jim Raynor, a teenage boy who lives on a Confederacy
planet, has grown up knowing nothing but farming. When a
recruiter appears and spins fantasy tales about the marine
corps and how you can make a difference in the war. Jim,
with his parents permission, joins and goes to boot camp.
As soon as he arrives at the front lines, he finds that
the corps aren't all that their cracked up to be. When
money and weapons go missing his squad is the primary
suspect. Will Jim and his friends find the real culprit
or, will they face the Confederacy's wrath

Opinion:

Overall this was a great book. I loved the detail and voice. Yo could
clearly visualize the characters and tell which one was
speaking. My favorite character was Tychus, the captain of
the Heaven's Devil's. He was a really down to earth guy.
He is someone who will get the job done no matter the
costs. There are some parts that are a in apropriate in
the book and should be read with caution. This book is
definitely geared towards the young adult range because
that this book is based on a video game.
