Would you rather be friends with gods or with mortals? Would you prefer Pan or Apollo? You can find out by reading Greek Myths. The Greeks believed in gods such as Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Artemis and Demeter. They believed in heroes such as Theseus and Perseus, and Titans such as Atlas and Prometheus. There were foolish kings, such as King Midas, powerful kings such as King Minos, and monsters such as the great minotaur and Medusa. In Greek mythology, there are stories of the gods, heros and creatures. Everyone faced a problem. King Midas could not eat or drink with the golden touch; Ariadne must find away to help Theseus and thwart her father's plans; Perseus must bring back the head of a gorgon to an evil king. How can these heroes possibly succeed?

Opinion:

I think Greek Myths is an amazing book. The way the author describes the characters in these ancient myths feels as if they are brought back to life. I could imagine it all with the help of the fabulous pictures. I think that the stories in this book are very close to the original stories. There is perfect conclusion to the book, ending at the beginning of time with Pandora and the Titans. If you're the type for mythology and adventure, you will definitely like this amazing book.
