"A Good Horse" is about a girl named Abby Lovvit. Her family own a ranch with lots of horses. Her dad trains them then sells them. When they find out one of their favorite horses, Black George, can clear a 4 foot jump easily, Abby knows her dad won't turn down a good offer for the horse. Then Abby gets a letter from a private investigator from Texas. He says that one of their horses, Jack a young colt, is stolen goods. Abby might not lose 1 horse but 2. What will happen? Will Jack be returned to his owner? Will Abby's father sell Black George?

Opinion:

Overall, this was a good book. It has some excitement, some mystery, and, mostly, lots of horses. This is definitely a book for horse lovers. You can tell that from the title that it is totally about horses. I liked the mystery part of the book, but I'm not a horse lover, so I didn't really like the book as a whole. I can recommend this book to someone who likes horses.
