Firebirds is a collection of short fantasy and science fiction stories written by well-known children's book authors such as Lloyd Alexander.

Opinion: 

I enjoyed this collection of short stories, especially the science ficiton ones.  There is something for everyone in this collection, and you do not have to read them all to find this book enjoyable and worthwhile.
