General Matsika's three children steal out of the house on a forrbidden adventure in which they are kidnapped a few times. General Matsika sends out the detectives, Ear, Eye, and the Arm, to bring them back.

Opinion: 

The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm was one of the best books I read in fourth grade.  It was a fun, fast-paced read that I really enjoyed.  I highly recommend it to early readers looking for a fiction that will keep them interested and make them laugh.
