Though Gabry gets out alive, many of the other children get caught. At home, Gabry's mother reveals a secret that changes Gabrys life. Gabry, Cira, Catcher, and Elias escape into the woods and must navigate the forest of hands and teeth to uncover the secrets of Gabry and Elias intertwined pasts.
Opinion:
This postapocalyptic companion the The Forest of Hands and Teeth was just as good as the first, a brilliant story line in the newfound mystery of what will become of Earth after the apocalypse. The story flows with the first book of this mini- series. Good use of prologue and epilogue, and rich word choice. A real page- turner!
