Tara Sheridan thought she had escaped, but the Delphi's Daughters had other plans for her. She must find a missing scientist who was studying ways to harvest dark matter before it's to late. This would be nearly impossibleexcept for Tara is not like others, she has the ancient powers of cartomancy to protect her from the forces going against her. She must be careful though because she will be faced with shady government officials, an old partner, and an vengeful face from the past. Can Tara beat them with nothing more than a distiant partner, college student, an old woman, and her cards? Can she learn to trust these allies instead of push them away? To find out read Alayna Williams mysterious adventure of "Dark Oracle".

Opinion:

This book was well written from the setting, to characters, even to the plot itself. The setting was very realistic it felt like I was actually there going through all the hardships with the charaters. This book was very serious with afew breaks in the tension that allows you to take in a quick breath. The characters themselve are very well developed, each with their own personality that really makes this book what is. I believe that this peice of literature has the power to move the reader to tear, joy, and laughter. I think Alayna Williams really out did herself with this book. I would definately recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a amazing book.
