This book is about Cassie Palmer, (pretty much) all powerful Pythia or chief clairvoyant. Most of the time Pythia's get lots of training from their predecessor. Not Cassie though. She has to figure everything out by her self. To make things even harder for her, about 90% of the magical community wants to kill her. (including the actually all powerful god Apollo) This book has everything, from exciting magical chases, to very hot boys, to vampires. Come on, who doesn't want to read this book!!

Opinion:

This book was FANTASTIC. There was never a dull page, never a stiff piece of dialog, and definitely never a point when I wanted to put the book down. My mom practically had to pry the book from my hand to get me to sit down and eat dinner. If this book was anything less than perfect I would say that the whole sexy vampire thing has been done before, but Ms. Chance (the author) put new light on the steamy Mircea. He is nothing like Edward and the book absolutely does not resemble Twilight at all. There were lots of characters and pretty much all of them had backgrounds that were weaved into the story without distracting from the plot. Over all, this is one of my new favorite books, and everyone in the world (well from the ages 12 and up) should go out and read it immediately.
