LitPick Review
"Between" is a story about two totally different kids working together and going into memories to find out what went wrong in their pasts. Liz died while at her 18th birthday party. Alex got run over by someone's car a few years earlier. They find themselves in a limbo between their lives on earth and the afterlife. In this story, Alex and Liz travel around their hometown seeking every memory they can. Only when they put together the puzzle of their memories can they be freed from the limbo.
Opinion:
"Between" is a story that has a good plot, but it doesnt pull me in as much as some other books do. In addition, "Between" has some things in its plot that may not be appropriate for young readers. For example, it had cursing, and talks about drugs and sex. Also, it left me with some unanswered questions at the end. However, I did like that Lizs character changed and evolved throughout the book. If you are a fan of mysteries or the paranormal, I would recommend this book.
