This book is about the eccentric third grader, Chris, who never stands up for himself. Every teacher in the school says the chicken nugget man eats kids and hides behind regular ones, so they place a ban on all chicken nuggets. The author helps people understand things aren't always as they seem. The book seems as if the genre it would be in should be humorous, yet educational in some ways. This book is an ok book, but it seems to have many questions that may disrupt your careful reading time. The plot seems to mix up a bit during the story.

Opinion:

I found this book to be good in some ways, but I did find a few flaws in the plot and understanding. The book is very funny and unexpected, but the questions in the book usually threw me off of the storyline, especially the ones slapped right in the middle of the plot. I learned things aren't always how they seem, and the author puts a ton of emphasis in that. I would indeed recommend it to some who have the patience to skip right past the questions and move right on to the pretty words.(Of course, all words are pretty..) The writing in the book underlines some words and shows pictures of that word like we don't know what it is. This book might be a great read for a person scavenging for extra credit as if used as a book report. Overall, this book is good for patient types and the curious ones.
