LitPick Review
In the fourth installment to Linda Robertsons Persephone Alcmedi books, Persephone (Seph) is back with even more trouble on her hands. Her werewolf boyfriend just came out in public as the Domn Lup, the wolf king, and someone is going to come down to make him prove it. Then there is the fact that her bond with the vampire Messenos is getting stronger. Last, but not least, is the birthday party she has to plan for her foster daughter, Beverly. What could go wrong? Will everything spin out of Sephs control, or will her ending actually be happy?
Opinion:
I have read every single Persephone Alcmedi book, and personally, I think they are fabulous. I wasnt too sure I would like them at first, especially this one because I had no idea what was going on. After a few pages, Arcane Circle captured my heart, and I wished I could be fighting off fantasy creatures with Seph. Something that could have been changed about the book; though, is that Robertson could have focused a little less on Persephones romance with Johnny, her werewolf boyfriend. Other than that, I hope that there will be another Persephone Alcmedi book to come. I recommend this book to seventeen year olds and above.
