Logan Witherspoon (A.K.A. one of the commons at his school) recently discovered that his girlfriend, Brenda, whom he had been dating for three years cheated on him after telling him those three powerful words. After a while of drooling over Brenda, even though it was over, the new girl, Sage, breezed though the halls and into Biology with self-confidence. She sat next to Logan and he took her friendship. Sage made him promise to be her friend no matted what. Logan liked her more than just a friend and Sage felt the same way but had a secret. Logan is then disgusted after she finally lets out her secret...she's really a boy! Logan then comes to find that the road back to Just Friends can be very rocky and hard to travel. After doing too much & or too little with her he can not get her out of his head. Now that he finally realizes what an embarrassment she is, she is out of his life and even moves out of state for her own safety. Now he wants to see her again, but he cant, ever. Its a goodbye forever.

Opinion:

I thought that this book was a book of understanding, of caring, and of thought. Sage isn't really wrong about her choice because there isn't a book of directions you have to live your life by. Logan is just like any other teenage boy. Personaly, I wish that Sage was a girl because Sage is very sweet even though her life is hard or a very difficult challenge. This is a book that keeps you wondering and keeps you reading. I enjoyed this book because there was never a section where it is boring and it didn't make you not want to get though it. I really liked it!

With inappropriate language and inappropriate doings at the college dorms. This wouldn't be the best book for a young kid. Someone with a lot of maturity should read this book.
