LitPick Review
It is Chad Snyder's first spring as batboy, and the Pine City Porcupines needs a win but they're up against the league's leading team, Heron Lake Humdingers. Now Chad has a whole lineup of problems: his favorite player, shortstop Mike Stammer, thinks that he is jinxed, Dylan the other batboy does not like baseball, and there is a goofy new porcupine mascot on the baseball field. Worst of all, Chad has to pinch-hit as batboy for the Humdingers. Good thing that there is something in his baseball cards that can help him sort it all out. This book's main theme is baseball.
Opinion:
While reading this book the author gave very vivid details. This books main character is Chad Snyder. The author's voice in this book is funny. The way Chad acts and thinks is funny. One of the strenghts in this book is the pictures that help move the story along. The author added the correct amount of details and did not leave me wondering. My overall response of this book is that it was very interesting. It always had something new and unexpected happening. I recommend this book to any one that likes books that keep them laughing.
