Opinion:

Ann Rinaldi has written many historical fiction books with women as the central character.  This book is typical of the way she is able to create an interesting fictional story within a historical time period so you are getting a better understanding of history from a unique fictional perspective.  I highly recommend this Ann Rinaldi book and know you will enjoy it if you like U.S. history.
