This book has truly changed my life. Tony, a teenager entering his 20's, is in jail again, this time over a twelve pack of beer. He is given 90 days in prison to try and turn things around. Malcolm, a businessman, a "do-gooder" in Tony's words, goes to the County Jail once a week. Malcolm talks about "work, freedom, books, traveling, and God" to the prisoners. Malcolm has helped many people get out of the same situation that Tony is in currently. At every "group," the weekly meeting Malcolm holds, he hands out books. The book he hands out is The Greatest Miracle in the World.
Opinion:
In my opinion, the way in which Tony changes his life could be considered "The Greatest Miracle in the World." I think that anybody who reads this amazing story of a young adult who turns his life around will be rewarded. This book reminds people that their destiny is in their own hands, not in the hands of anyone else.
I loved this book. As I said in my review, I feel that it truly reminds people that their destiny is in their own hands, not in the hands of anyone else. Also, since this story is true, I felt that I could truly relate to the characters in the book. The writing style kept me hooked, because the author didn't drag things out too much. I loved how the author skimmed through Tony's whole life without dragging out the boring details. Overall, I truly think that this book changed my life.
