Pepper, a young private investigator, has a gift. She has the gift to be able to talk to the "other side". (The dead) Pepper meets a young scientist named Dan who wants to do studies on her brain. He is looking for somebody who can communicate with the dead. His wife, Madeline, was mugged and killed by mentally ill guy. When Pepper gets sent on a business trip in place of her boss, she visits the Gerard Clinic, a mentally ill facility, run by Hillton Gerard, and she finds out the truth. If a mentally ill person goes in, they never come back out. Since Pepper can communicate with the dead, she has been communicating with Madeline/Maddie, Dan's wife. When Pepper visits the Gerard Clinic to uncover some details, she gets locked in, only to find that Doctor Gerard is going to run tests on her brain. When Pepper escapes with the help of Dan, they go back to his hotel room. Then, an event happens that causes Pepper to switch places with Maddie. Will Pepper get her body back? Or will she stay as a ghost forever? Read "Night of the Loving Dead" to find out.

Opinion:

I thought this book was a little odd. I didn't care for this book, but that doesn't mean you won't.
