LitPick Review
Secrets From the Sleeping Bag is about a secret blogger named Sofia that is forced to go to summer camp by her parents. The camp that she is forced to go is Camp Krakatow. Sofia brings along her best friend Nona. Sofia wants to bring out the best of camp, but things keep getting in her way: like mean old counselor the Priss and rivalry between another girls' cabins. Will Sofia make it out alive and will camp finally go her way?
Opinion:
Secrets from the Sleeping Bag takes place at a busy camp called Camp Krakatow. The author gives very vivid details when telling the story. The books main character is Sofia. The author makes me believe in her as a young sassy teen. The author voice is hilarious because Sofia is very goofy kind of girl. The vocabulary in this book is age appropriate. This book can compare to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dork Diaries. This book is comparable to those two because they are both set up in a journal/diary kind of form. I would recommend this book to any one that likes the Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dork Diaries.
