This book is the third in the After the Dust Settled series. Shep is a Plague Rider which means he delivers medicine to the surrounding villages. He works for the evil Dr. St. John who makes medicine for the surrounding area of Wisconsin where the dreaded plague Nightpox has hit. The only reason he agreed to help St. John is because one day his parents disappeared after an attack on their home. Only that on one journey he finds that his parents may be still alive all except he and his fellow rider must go against St. John to find them. Shep has to find them before it's to late. Will Shep find them or will he himself not survive? Read Plague Riders the third book in the After the Dust Settled series to find out.
