LitPick Review
Life may be a fairy tale for some people, but not for Oksanya. She was diagnosed with Duchene's Muscular Dystrophy at a very young age, and has had it all her life. She cant run like her friends do, and she 't ever be able to join the track team at her high school. Or so she thinks. When the opportunity arises for Oksanya to undergo a treatment that will allow her to run, she leaps at the chance. But the side effects of the surgery arent your average run-of-the-mill type. These side effects wont just last for a month or two, either. 'll be there for the rest of her life.
Opinion:
When I first requested the book, I thought it would be a poorly re-done version of a favorite series of mine, Maximum Ride by James Patterson. I couldn't have been more wrong. Tony Graff unleashes an amazing story that will suck you right into the action. With a realistic cast of characters and a spectacular plot, Tony Graff's debut novel does nothing but impress. This page-turner had only one flaw. It wasn't long enough. I read the entire book within two days of receiving it. Upon finishing it, I wanted more. Needless to say, I am looking forward to Tony Graff's next book, be it a sequel to this one, or a new series altogether.
